There's a lot of nice scenery here - the level of details is insane. I also note that some of crates seem to be have been scaled and such fine touches so there's certainly effort on this front. As there's a lot of ash to burn and the level of details is so high, slowdown in fps is to be expected. As a short straight-forward linear level, a minor fps drop to 50/60 or so didn't hurt my experience too much.
I kinda wished there was more extensive gameplay centered around these nice set-piece environments, especially the one at the very end. Navigation was linear without too much trouble, taking out the enemies was similarly straight-forward, so the level left me with a somewhat empty feeling - like something was missing.
For the swimming I found that by accident. But it was worth it.
Thanks for making it not THAT hard, it's already a long enough level.
Damn, your map packs are great!
