Hi, I’m Jin, one of the QA testers on Karnage Chronicles. Karnage is a tough game, trust me I know; but it’s not impossible. So, in order to make your first journey into the world of Karnage Chronicles a little more enjoyable I have written 5 trusty tips to help you out a little.

1. The Warrior Class
The Warrior excels at close combat, but you have to make sure you don’t get surrounded. Find a safe place and draw out melee enemies one-by-one using your cross bow. Remember that you need to protect your whole body, and with the warrior you have many tools at your disposal to do so. The shield will block melee attacks as well as most ranged attacks, but you can also parry using your sword. This way can shield off incoming ranged attacks, whilst also dealing with a close combat enemy.
2. The Archer Class
The Archer class is all about ranged combat, but it doesn’t have much in the way of defense. When you’re the archer, cover is your friend. Always try to use environment around you to your advantage. Remember when you use ranged weapons headshots do double damage, so precision is key. Take your time and line up your shots.
3. Keep Moving
It’s important to always keep moving. If you have the space, you can use room scale to dodge incoming attacks; if not, the teleport is your friend. It’s also good to try and position yourself so that you can funnel your enemies and pick them off one-by-one.
4. Pick Your Battles
If you are struggling to take down that pesky archer that you can’t seem to hit, ignore it. Maybe it’s not the best time and place to take them on now. Who knows, maybe an opportunity will arise where you will have the upper hand.
5. Take Breaks
This might sound silly, but if you are finding an area difficult and constantly dying, take a breather. Give yourself a 5-minute break and compose yourself, when you come back you will be refreshed and maybe realize that it wasn’t as difficult as you thought.

Hopefully these simple tips will help through your journey. It’s a tough road, but I trust you can do it!

@mythmaker paying attention to your surroundings and learning to pull aggro correctly will help more than anything. there is very rarely any situation I've been outside of spiders where I can't fight 1v1 or at least 2v1. 5v1 just sounds like carelessness.

@mythmaker might be a bug, that sounds too hard at least if you are not playing on high difficulties. Which difficulty are you on and can you provide a more specific location description so it's easy for us to find and check it out? :) Since you say first Dungeon system I guess you are referring to Wyvernscale Mountains?

I seem to just get swarmed by enemies at certain places and die over and over and over again. There's one spot where two archers are pegging me with flaming arrows - 2 or 3 melee fighters are pounding on me front and back and then two boss wolves show up to finish me off. The gameplay balance just seems off - way too hard as I'm only in the first dungeon system - the Dwarven ruins. If I had a party of 4 characters in that scenario - we'd mop up - but being just one player I just get overwhelmed. I had to finally give up because even on easy it I couldn't get past certain swarming choke points. I've used your 5 points but I still get my ass kicked. Am I missing something obvious?

At least when you know your allies are near, that is.

Another thing. In COOP, make your attacks vertical or diagonal, horizontal attacks risk harming allies.

Also store your not needed food in your private room near the shop, as you get alot food in the begin (and you dont want to carry it all with you), and later you might need more of it
