Cool that this is a genuine guide,
but still disappointed there's no git gud at all.
1. not super important, but in Dark Souls 3, not meeting the STR requirement for a weapon doesn't make it slower.
2. In Dark Souls 3, backstepping does NOT provide invincibility for ANY length of time, unlike in Dark Souls 2 and possibly Dark Souls
3. Players who have not played the first two Dark Souls games likely won't be able to identify the term Loyd's Talisman very easily, because in Dark Souls 3 it goes by a different name, Undead Hunter Charm.
4. Uchigatana only requires 16 DEX, which is good to know for early game stat investment.
All in all though, this is one of the best beginner guides I've ever seen, good job!
This was especially helpful for me:
" Also note that when guarding, your stamina recovery speed is quartered..."
I was wondering why my stamina was recovering so slowly, compared to other players. Tried a new class, tried without clothes, no shield and so on.
