Hallo every one here is Schwarzengel, i am back with my new ship Redbaron--Luna and Noctis.I build this ship for 6 months.So she has an old fantastic magic system. I control myselfs not to use mods , so 95% of this ship is vanilla include all lcds. it means: it's ok, when you even don't use mod . I hope you will like it O.O

i just tested it, they still work, if you want to have orbiting pods, just place a central rotor along the main axis of the ship, place a central pillar on the rotor head and those special rotors radially facing outwards, at least that was, how i could replicate the exact same orbiting pods as seen here

@Krolick It was done in a much older version of space engineers with the help of a program as far as i know, It might not be the perfect solution but the mod i linked below should give you the option to make anything float at a set distance and orientation acordingly towards the base block you put it on. let me check if my mod still works

@Krolick I don't know if it can be done in this version. Its an old bug. keen has changed the setting of piston much times. And i have already afk for years.

mod is here, adds an additonal advanced rotor called "Fokeys Advanced Distance Rotor" that can extend up to 100m, should be long enough for your orbiting pods.

p.s. you might got to enable that semi new share inertia tension that rotor heads dont fall off,
p.p.s. you will have to search for the block name as it will not appear in the all blocks section

ok i tested it and it worked, (i edited a rotor mod of someone else and you could make such outer orbiting drones with ease you could even change the distance without breaking the bond (when you did it carefully enough))
