Classic Rocket Launcher

Mod ID: 884380337

Allows you to craft "classic" rocket launchers that have stats and quality levels, and can be upgraded to higher quality levels (Journeyman, Mastercraft, etc) using the Upgrade Station. Also includes a Rocket Launcher Station that allows you to convert existing rocket launchers into classic rocket launchers.

This is a standalone mod but works best in conjunction with the Upgrade Station.

We're still working on balance so please let us know your thoughts so we can make the classic rocket launcher on par with the original.

Welcome!

This is the official "Classic" Rocket Launchers mod for use with the Upgrade Station mod. The Upgrade Station mod is not required to use this mod.

Configuration

Including this item in supply drops is planned for a future update. For now, supply drops can be configured to include the classic rocket launcher by following the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/playark/comments/4mzhnu/copypaste_supply_crate_setup/

The item class name is "PrimalItem_WeaponClassicRocketLauncher_C".

Admin Commands

Classic rocket launchers can be spawned in at different quality levels (Journeyman, Mastercraft, etc) using admin commands like other items can.

Classic Rocket Launcher

hi the mod works great the only thing is that the damage scaling does not work with homing rockets? and if that is something that you choose to look at do you think you could look to revert the nerf on homing rocket range as the devs nerf the lock on range a long time ago

I've tested this in-game and it seems it still works as of 2022!

My only caveat is that to repair this classic rocket launcher is very prohibitively expensive. By that I mean the repair costs for this classic rocket launcher is roughly TEN TIMES the cost to repair the vanilla, modern rocket launcher!

I mean, I love the idea of being able to use the Upgrade Station on a rocket launcher. But such costs make me question whether it's worth it.

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and ♥♥♥♥♥ about things you get for free.

@ghazlawl Question if we add the upgrade rocket launcher and tek rifle mods with this one then make a blueprint, if we remove all 3 mods do we lose the blueprints?

@ghazlawl Not sure why, but out of all the mods that we use on our server, this one is the only one that forces my game to crash to desktop on loading it. :( It only happens to me, and no one else on the server, so it must be something specific to my machine, or game install causing the issue. I'm still trying to isolate the issue specifically, but so far I haven't figured it out.
