My first french weapon so I decide I would start with a real doozy, this here is the Chauchat used in ww1 by french and american troops, chambered in 8mm lebel this oddly shaped gun is no longer seeing trenches but staring down a crowd of infected to mow down while you cry out Ils ne passeront pas!

This is sort of a mod to let all of you know that im not dead and ive recently moved thats why i havent been as active, I had to work with the animations i had, i know this isnt perfect to how a chauchat works(ive never shot one).I just went off of youtube videos and I also accidentally deleted the resource files for this :S, this was a project that was actually in development for a long time now and I could never get ahold of a proper chauchat model.

it funny, these guns have 2 models, both suck because its design was not mud, sand and dirt resistance, the first one false due to the magazine basically open for mud, the second model was just French manufacture incompetent, they used the wrong bullet magazine size.

Lot's of people here not knowing that most of the jamming issues of the Chauchat were actually attributed to the shoddily converted 30-06 version used by American troops. Though the cut outs on the side of the magazines causing jams is at least true to a point

this gun had a slow rate of fire, jammed easily, mud got into the magazine too easily, and it was overall ineffective

the gun jams when its used it dirty and wet places such as swamps andwet trenches if u know what i mean
