I should also say these are my errors on my most recent crash
I ran compatibility for Windows 7 and 8 and ran as admin ive also lowered my resolution down to 800x600 this seems to make the crash slower by about 10 seconds how ever nothing ever shows up from the game its like im tabbed out of it when it starts and the game wont boot properly. I have no idea what to do and the fix video ive found is saying dont touch the steam version.
Any guesses on what i can try next or do i just refund it?

THX in advance for your help.
Go to the install location, something like "G:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Medieval 1 Gold". Find the Medieval_TW.exe and right-click, then go to 'properties' and the 'compatibility' tab. Try some of those settings, such as running in a low resolution or in compatibility for an older Windows version.
I heve HP Pavillion laptop with Intel Coffee Lake-H GT2 - Integrated Graphics Controller?
