The Moon is the only natural satellite of Earth and, for now, the only place out of Earth where human have walked. It is not habitable minus the possibility of surface stations, but its low gravity yields great potential for starship building. It also was the obvious first step for space exploration.

This planet has been made from a NASA heightmap.

The Moon doesn't look exactly look like it should be, since the dark spots, although being lower altitude areas, are not exactly correlated to height. I'll try to fix that in the future.

Also, no ore are placed. I am not sure if I'll place any, since the Moon is very poor in minerals due to how it was created (Earth got all the heavy minerals after the impact).

A : like any other planet, you can spawn it with a diametre between 19 and 120 km

Q - can you make it bigger ?
A : no, the max size isn't coded in the planet's files. You'd need a separate mod to make it bigger.

Q - how to use the planet ?
A : spawn an empty creative world with this mod enabled. Once you're in the game : Shift F10, select Planets, 120 km, ignore the seed, Luna and spawn it

Q - does it need other mods ?
A : no, but I suggest using a speed mod
