This fix is so that you can have all of the Athena Sword/Expansion Packs Sound Files
play properly in Rainbow Six 3: Gold (Raven Shield)

This ensures a more complete sound experience.
You WILL notice the fix once its done and its a way better experience to play with the fix.
Tons of missing ambiences and more will now play in game.

2020 SOUND UPDATE
Fixes Rainbow Six 3 sounds. Adds Athena Sword, Iron Wrath sounds to Rainbow Six 3 properly. Also several custom map sounds and more for ALLR6.com multiplayer servers so you can hear everything properly on the servers when playing.

2. How to install instructions:
Copy/Merge/Overwrite Sounds Folder to your Sounds Folder in your Rainbow Six 3 Gold or Raven Shield folder.

Back up the old folder if you wish but this is a direct copy from my games's files.
Including the needed gun and map sounds from the Athena Sword and Iron Wrath expansions.

Indeed, also we play online coop often (we combined AS and RS as well as Rogue Spear maps together) if you have the multiplayer patch

I will thanks, I'm going to start with this and consider the 2.0 or other mods. This was my favorite game back in the day tons of multiplayer fun, I still love it and thought it was a shame Athena Sword had such an audio issue. The expansion is just a great as Raven Shield. It wasn't as populated for multiplayer back then but the campaign is excellent.

i downloaded everything and put the folders where they need to be but online does not work for me says i have to create an account can someone help?

@CDI 94 Except you will be missing every single custom map sound and such as we have in the sound pack here. Which is very important for playing online

Alternatively you can copy all the sound files from the expansions and paste them into the "sounds folder" from the base game.
