Introduction
Hi there!

This will be a somewhat extensive guide on how to get the achievements for this game. At the time of writing this, I do not have all achievements, but I can only assume using my gamer knowledge how the rest of these can be obtained.

The order of the achievements im using is common to rare % of players owning the achievements.

Good luck and have fun grinding!
Slay Them All

Slay Them All

Perhaps the most easiest achievement to get, and yet I don't know it's requirements lol.
I have a few guesses how it's done:

Either kill 100 mobs or kill 10 different varieties of mobs.

The point is, it's a very simple achievement, and you can finish this before entering level 6 of any dungeon.
Death Conqueror

Death Conqueror

For this, you have to choose each of the there different resurection choices at least once.

A simple way to do this is to let mobs kill you on a very low level of a dungeon, say level 5, this way you wont have to backtrack as much between other levels to get your gear or gold back.
Different Paths

Different Paths

This one is also very simple, just make a character for all the four races available

Creature Whisperer

Creature Whisperer

Much easier to get this if you are doing a mage run through.

To get this, you must summon 7 different allied monsters via charm spells.
Since you are only limited to 6 charm spells, you will have to get rid of weaker or other spells to make way for new summoning spells.
Elphamous

Elphamous

This one is a bit more tough,
You have to have had at least one of each type of armor and weapon of the Elphame set in you inventory at least once.

These pieces tend to drop more often past level 50, or may rarely sold by merchants:

Elphame Helm
Elphame Shield
Elphame Boots
Elphame Belt
Elphame Gloves
Elphame Armor
Elphame Necklace
Elphame Sword
Elphame Staff
Elphame Mace
Elphame Hammer
Elphame Bow
Elphame Crossbow
Elphame Spear
Elphame Axe
Elphame Polearm

There is a bug, where upon picking up a unidentified magical piece of Elephame equipment, it will trigger the progress, but only one drop at a time.
This way, if you are lucky, you can find drops of just the neckless over your first play through by quests or the drops.

[UPDATE]
So I found an easy way to get this while playing, simply get any piece of Elphame equipment and enchant it 15 times.
The enchantment needs to be positive and actually apply to the item for the game to register the count that you got "new equipment" and the counter will progress.
Thrill Skill

Thrill Skill

This one is simple but takes a long time, and maybe take 2 or 3 play throughs to get it

To get this one, you have to get all skills to a minimum of level 50
Sometimes when you have equipment that raises your skills by x amount of points, and it increases it to more than 50, you won't gain progress. To gain verification that it progresses, you have to put in at least one point in that skill again.

I'll explain with an example:

Say you have 39 points in the Axe Skill, and you have found an item that gives you +15 Axe Skill bonus.
This brings your total Axe Skill to 54
However, until you put in another point into that skill, (bringing it to 55), the game wont verify the progress. When you do, the game will be like "oh snap, the skill is past 50, quick, give him a progess report in a small window"
In the case that your skill then drops below 50, you shouldn't be worried as once the game verified it once, it will not care any more about getting the same skill above 50. So as long as you did it once, you are solid.

There is a total of 15 skills so good luck with that.
I would highly recommend writing down a list of the skills, and crossing them out as you get past the 50 mark.
The One and Only

The One and Only

Including this achievement, the rest are going to become very luck-reliant, so pull out your four-leaf clovers and horseshoes and get ready.

To get this one, you need to obtain at least one of all of the unique gems at least once.
There are a total of 23 different gems, and the drop rates of each of them are quite low from bosses, large chests and fishing.

Fate statues are your best bet for getting these, you know, these things:

[UPDATE]
Levels 50 or higher of the dungeon have increased drop rates for more magic drops than in town or levels above it. I've managed to get 4 gems by fishing in one spot in level 52 of the Typhon dungeon, but that is only my luck, what's yours?
Glorious and Divine

Glorious and Divine

As you may be aware, there are 25 different, non unique, gems in the game.
Each gems has 5 different rarities, with each rarity increasing the stats the gem gives you.
The rarities are:

Cracked
(none, base gem)
Surperior
Perfect
Divine

What you are looking for, is that Divine quality of gems.
The problem is that, they are indeed, very rare.

They are not sold by vendors, and are dropped as yellow-quality from standard sources (fishing, bosses, chests, fate statues)

You need to obtain at least one of each of the 25 gems as Divine quality at least once.

And of course, the game doesn't keep track of which ones you've already have gotten, so I suggest making a list and ticking each of them off as you encouter them while playing.
All for one, one for all

All for one, one for all

Simple yet time consuming.

Retire at least once with all available races

That means finish the game with a Human, Half Orc, Shadow Elf and Cogger

The steps to reitire a charater are:
Return all heroic items to the statues in the Temple of Fate
Complete the main quests for Druantia and Typhon
Complete the Chamber of Trials 3 times
Reach a minimum character level 51
Complete the Master Quest

Not much more than that.
It will not matter if you choose to retire or continue deep delving, as long as you return and complete the master quest, you will recieve the notification of progress.

I've managed to complete my first run with a Shadow Elf while exploring all of the level, killing everything and doing some mad math on my equipment, and it took about 20 hours.
So 20 hours * 4 characters = 80 hours give or take.
Iron Hand

Iron Hand

As with any game, there has to be that one, really difficult achievement.
I'll borrow a phrase to give more meaning to this achievement:
"Because this game wants the masochist out there to have fun too." - Ross Scott, 2013

Retire with a hardcore character

Well, the requirements to retire are still the same (just check the All for one, One for all achievement)

The thing that makes this achievement difficult to get is that you can't die, otherwise, have fun doing it all over again.

My theory is to use a ranged-magic hybrid, utulizing charm summoning spells and attack speed boosts to play it safe in the distance, along with lifesteal, knockback and attack speed to take out enemies from a distance while using your summons as meat shields.
Conclusion
Well that's that.
Some difficult and easy achievements in this game.
Have fun fellow achievement hunters!

Different Paths can't be achieved with descendant characters, and it stands to reason that this also applies to All For One, One For All. Knowing that, I think I've figured out the issue people are having with three other achievements.

Right now my Thrill Skill progress is at 7. Adding up all the skills I've gotten past 50, there's 4 weapon skills, Critical Strike, Spell Casting, and Dual-Wielding, plus 3 that my boss heirloom knocks out of the park. And yes, I've put a few skills into all three of them to try and make them count. If I'm at 7 and I should be at 10, it stands to reason that points you get from your heirloom don't count. And if you can't progress in Thrill Skill with an heirloom, then it's not outside the realm of possibility that an heirloom with Magic Find Chance will prevent you from gaining progress in The One and Only and Glorious and Divine.

You can get Death Conqueror with descendant characters though.

Or maybe it’s because my elf on hardcore died, but after restarting the game he was still available in the menu and you can play as him after death? But why don't my other human heroes get the achievement?

Do I understand correctly that achievements are not counted for those who used Ctrl+Alt+Del? I created a new character on hardcore, but the Trill Skill achievement still didn't count. What do I need to do?

iron hand is bugged at least for some of us for sure. ive played through hc 2 times now, retiring the char both times. no pop. both times ive had a grayed out icon of iron hand achievement pop in the bottom right of my screen, as though ive gotten some progress toward the achievement, which is stupid in itself, since there should be no progress to get. either way, it wont unlock for me, and id rather die than relvl a 3rd hc time without heirlooms just for it to bug once again. very very fucking annoying, as i really dont want to start using sam.

glorious and divine is bugged for me aswell, at least trying to fish for the gems. ive caught a few of them, my progress is stuck at 5/25, all of which ive gotten 50 hours ago from a statue save scamming. if it is just statues, it is so fucked. ive spent 5 hours of just reloading constantly on 3 statues getting 0 (!) divine gems in that time, at tdepth 105

This has been a very helpful guide i'm currently save scumming a fate statue for the gem achievements. Award given!

Any advice for the iron hand achievement not activating even after beating Kaos and Shadow?
sfnhltb 2024 年 4 月 9 日 下午 4:16
For the 50 in each skill it is fairly straightforward without any reloading or cheating - once you are at level 50 deep you will get plenty of 10+ skill items, just put them in your stash (particularly jewellery as they only take up one slot each), once you have enough items to get you to 50 in a skill you can then just put on those items temporarily then spend 1 actual point to trigger that skill. Even if you don't get all of them in the first play through, the other achievements require 4 times through the game, so this one should be easy to get with minimal messing around.

Just got the Iron Hand achievement. Wasn't worth it. I should have retired after Kaos.

if you retire a character, does it prevent you from playing with said character past that point?!?

(IE does it wipe/lock your save?)

At adress Steam\userdata\138010307\303680\remote\SAVE\en-US
yr save files contains. As writed before, you can get 50lvl of any char, but save only skills for the Fame, not for Lvl Up (or use it little bit for faster run). at the end u can collect 11-12 Renown = ~60 skill points. Close the game, backup your save file with *.FFD extension, launch, up 1st skill to 50, close the game, copy-paste old save file with overwriting, enter the game and u will have again character with free points, up 2nd skill to 50, etc...It`s more faster even than 2 finishes.
At this moment i start think, that with games like this, SAM - isnt bad idea. :steamfacepalm:
