[Troubleshoot] Connection and crash

This guide will trying to cover any troubleshooting that may happen to Just Dance 2017 users.

Connection problem
If you can't connect from your PC to your phone. try this step.
  • If you have Wi-Fi router
    1. Open Run box by pressing Windows Logo + R, then type "cmd" and press OK
    2. Type "ipconfig" and press enter
    3. Take note of your IPv4 Address.
    4. Start Just Dance 2017 and select phone
    5. On your phone, open Just Dance Controller, login to Uplay if you haven't done that (tap on edit profile), tap on "Help" and tap "Select IP manually", and input IP Address from your IPv4 Address on your PC.
    6. Tap OK, the phone will connect automatically.
  • If you don't have Wi-Fi router but have internal Wi-Fi from your laptop or using USB Wi-Fi for your PC
    1. Download Connectify or any similiar Wi-Fi sharing app
    2. Assign SSID (Wi-Fi name) and turn it on
    3. Connect your phone to that SSID
    4. Do above section
Crash when launching
Note : Intel IGP devices, especially older generation, cannot run this game
If you have laptop with dual graphic (Intel and nVidia with nVidia Optimus), you must set this game to run on your nVidia manually, otherwise your game will not run because your game is trying to run on your Intel IGP device.
  1. Right click on your desktop and open nVidia Control Panel.
  2. In left section, expand 3D Setting, and select "Manage 3D Setting"
  3. Select tab Program Setting, wait until load complete, and click "Add"
  4. Scroll down until you find JD2017.exe,, or click "Browse" if you can't find it and browse to JD2017.exe (Steam\steamapps\common\Just Dance 2017\JD2017.exe)
  5. Press OK.
  6. Change Auto-select : Integrated to nVidia Processor
  7. Press "Apply" at the bottom right, close nVidia Control Panel, and try to relaunch the game. Your game should be running now.

NOTE :
Each time after you updated your nVidia driver, you should do steps above, because updating driver replaces per-app settings.

when trying to purchase "Unlimited" subscription game will not redirect to browser and is stuck on the "Subscribe". Ubi blames Steam and steam says they dont control that situation.

About the webcam, what's the brand and model of your webcam?
About key require, please reinstall Uplay from https://uplay.ubi.com/

The game does not see my webcam ;(
Game doesnt show any errors or anything like that. Just when i want to play "video battle", i can see rival's video, but from my side is just my profile icon with flag. I tryed to play with turned on and off "autodance" but camera still does not work.
Searched all over the internet, found some ppl with same problem, but didn't find how to fix this :<
