1. Go to your library, right click Crash Drive 2 -> Properties, then Updates and turn off steam cloud save. Launch your game and quit it.
2. Press Windows button + R ( to get "Run" window)
3. Write "regedit" and press enter
4. In Registry Editor go HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> M2H -> Crash Drive 2
5. Find "playerName_h3979151953" on the right and double click it.
6. In "Value data" right side you can write you nick. It can be longer than you can write in game settings. Ignore those numbers.
7. If you want to add colors to your nick you can go to http://www.color-hex.com or other website where you can see hex color codes.
8. Choose a color and write "[color_code_here]Your_nick_here" .
9. You can have multiple colors in your nick, by inserting "[color_code_here]" anywhere in you nick. (all letters after code will be that color).
10. When you're done, just press OK and go to the game. Your name will be colored.
11. You can safely turn on steam cloud save and go playing with new nick.
NOTE. Avoid going to options in game, because your nick may become shortened to the game limits and you'll have to do everything again.
Example:
"Gami" will be yellow, "ngMa" will be green, "ster" will be red, as you can see below.
