Introduction
As Counter-Strike is a paid game it is unusual for in-game items to be bought with real-life currency.

Scammers are people (if you don't know already) that want to take your items that you have bought. I guess like some sort of theft. They will normally target low-ranked or leveled players who have no experience at all and don't know the real value of 'skins'. Unusaully Counter-Strike skins are very over price, mainly because of their rarity and of course in-game beauty.

NEVER determine the trust of a "scammer" by its +rep and/or level. If you do have rare or expensive skins I would recommend keep your inventory on private.

There are many methods which I will cover later on. Scammers' profiles are normally pretty dodgy and that is why they target unexperienced players because they don't know that. If you do get scammed NEVER and I say NEVER go ahead a go scamming yourself. You ARE just going to stuff up the community even more. A few years ago, by my knowings, Valve use to duplicate the 'lost' skins/items but GUESS WHAT THIS DID?! Yes, stuffed up the community and created a new scamming method called 'Verify Items'.

Also don't go and cry in the discussions... Trust me...

Cleary stated in Steam Support they DO NOT take any responsibility in lost items. BEWARE!!
Scam Methods
'Buy with Steam Code and/or Paypal'

If people add you and want to buy your items then IT IS a scam. Never have I come across a legit buyer. If you say "Can you buy the skins I want then we can trade", they WILL MOST likely say "Then we have to wait 7 days before we could trade". LOL trust me ;) If a "scammer" does add you to buy with Paypal or Steam Codes, either BLOCK THEM or tell them to buy on 'OP Skins'. ;)

'♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Scam'

Some glitch on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ allows people with lets say 'Battle-Scarred' skins to show on the site as 'Factory New' or something higher value (mainly a too good to be true offer). Then when you trade with them without realising it is 'Battle-Scarred' they accept the offer within seconds so yeh your finished. ;)

'Verify Items'

The trader wants to see if your items are duplicated from Valve so they "SUPPOSEDLY" hire a fake impersonator trying to be someone from SteamRep. But almost everyone from SteamRep (the real guys) say they DO NOT verify or middleman trades. When you send your skins to the impersonator they run off (block you) and then you're also finished. BTW think why do they still have to verify years after they stopped duplicating? ;)

'Middleman'

If they want to hire a middleman, block them, report them and most of all -rep them. They say they will hire a middleman from SteamRep but the actual guy him/her hires is a HUGE fake impersonator. SteamRep CLEARLY states out that THEY DO NOT middleman ANY trades.

'Fake Betting Site Admin'

If ANYONE adds you saying they're a admin for a betting site and they will help you win and rig the site. HUGE FAKE!! Ask them a bunch of questions like 'Why arn't you on the staff list?' 'Why arn't you mod in the Steam group'? Some of them can be fake like 'The site is closed'. Then they will proberly give up and block you. Anyways if they DO add you stating they ARE a betting site admin then IT IS proberly a giant SCAM. Wait IT IS a giant scam. ;)

'Fake Trading Sites'

If they ask to withdraw your skins to trade then IT IS a scam, use sites like CSGOSell and CS.MONEY.

I am pretty sure I stated all the scam methods, if I did miss one then please comment below. Thanks for reading this far!
