1. Name one person who has gotten Three Mountains without exploits. In fact, look up Arumba's Three Mountains achievement run on YouTube. He asks viewers the same question.
2. You don't have to follow this achievement guide if you don't want to.
3. None of my other guides rely on exploits (for example Blessed Nation, This is Persia, or playing as Catalonia to get Traditional Player).
If it makes you feel any better, you're certainly having a more fun experience with EU4 than players who are save-scumming. It's an extremely tedious process.
What's the point in doing an achievement run if you're practically cheating? Might as well do a normal run and just integrate them via the console.
But that gives me an idea. If you're already using the save-scum technique to prevent Austria from getting an heir, you might as well also use it to ensure Ladislaus Postumus gets an heir the second he comes of age.
It's the Mattias Corvinus event that happens if your King doesnt have an heir between 1450 and 1457
As Hungary I'd recommend avoiding any decisions that make you the junior partner in a PU. If you take Hunyadi, Austria will eventually get over it. Really all you need is to Royal Marriage Austria and keep that royal marriage until Austria's ruler dies with no heir. Keep your prestige really high too.
