In main menu, using a XBox 360 controller, insert the code: Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, X, Y, back (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, W, Space for keyboard users).

You will know the code worked if the main menu background's color changed. It will change from orange to cyan, as shown in the picture below:

It works on PC, you should enter this code really quick. And the combo is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Y, B (It's not obvious what "Back" means)

It does work on PC i just did it. I did it on keyboard, you might have to do it quickly.

I'm going to try this on a different Steam account, if this work I'm going to be amazed and upset. Amazed for a hidden secret but upset that I wasted time to unlock hard mode manually.
