Custom Turrets

Kuvaus
Why do we have so many single purpose bullet firing turrets? Well, why not invent some more turrets that shoot stupid things, because why not!?

This is a little chamber built with several new types of turret, with spawners for each type. These are:

Laser Turrets: 'nough said. Can kill other turrets, and even themselves if you redirect their laser through a portal or redirection cube.

Gel Turrets: Can fire any variant of gel (including sticky/laser gel and water). Their range is somewhat limited.

Excursion Turrets: My personal favorite. They actually allow you to fly! Can be toggled between pull/push if the map allows for it.

HL2 Combine Turret: Thrown in at the end, exactly what you think it is.

"Laser turrets: 'nough said." Um, actually, no. Laser turrets need a ton more explanation, such as why they are extremely erratic and unreliable. Maybe THAT is why we "have so many single purpose bullet firing turrets"... because they actually work like they're supposed to! Your chamber is riddled with other glitches, such as one that forced me to get stuck against a wall and made me unable to move off it.

They have an attachment called eyes, eye, or head I think. One of those most likely.

Oh okay then one more question: how did you attatched everything to turrets laser pointer? is this SetParentAttachmentSomething?

I made a map like that too :weasel: It's called panel cubes or something like that. Anyways, in order to update the tractor beams position, I had to constantly toggle it off and on. That way, every time it tutns back on, it comes from the new position. The tractor beam gun I made in one of my other maps works like that too :weasel:
