@ Physigist - Right now, I'm pretty deep into a big railroad crossing mod. Having said that, and being an American, I'm not sure I could do justice to Australian crossings, though I do appreciate your vote of confidence.

Would you be able to do Australian Versions of Signals and crossings, if you have the time? you can use a website called http://victorianrailways.net/ for info to do it, and for locos/wagons too!

As an idea after the searchlight signals, somewhere like the 90s or early 2000s there would be safetrans signals.
