描述
Are you getting demolished by the over powered special infected? Well, now there are NO special infected! Well, actually, scripted Chargers, Jockeys, Smokers, etc. still spawn if they're part of an event, but luckily, Tanks do NOT spawn. Those are definitely the most difficult special infected to fight correct? No? Well, alone probably not, but either way. This is a basic Mutation that simply disables special infected. If you're like me and either have slow internet, no internet, or just want to cheat, here's how to activate it via the console (map <map name> nospeczombs).

And by the way, this Mutation was made pretty much explicitly to be played with no co-op, however, of course, the bots and other players can still play...

azul idk if u ever found it but look for the "super horde" series of mods. the guy who makes it has like 30 pages of versions of it

Yes, the game engine indeed has a limit but there isn't for mega mob spawns. I did try it on my server, not only did it hurt, it was fun to play with.

There was another mod that did it and it worked fine in both multiplayer and singleplayer. However the creator removed the mod after like 3 years for some reason.

There's actually a hard limit in the engine on how many infected can be on screen at a time. You'd have to modify the EXE file directly and change some binary values to accomplish this. Good luck with that, and good luck not getting banned outright on boot.

It's neat but it would be good if you'd increase the common infected spawn size and limit. 300 zombie horde is neat to have, a challenge in itself.
