HL2 Jeep in Portal 2

The jeep entity itself was removed, but prop_vehicle_driveable is a base source entity and the parent class for the jeep. If you copy over the jeeps script and model and apply them to prop_vehicle_driveable, then work around a bunch of bugs and missing features with map logic (the controls for steering and driving are broken lol) you end up with this mess lol

So is the HL2 jeep a beta item from portal 2 beta and if so how did you get it working or did you just get a mod for it to work? but thinks a lot for giving me a update!:]

It does that a lot, unfortunately. Last I tried it would eventually work after a couple of attempts, but given how much unused functionality this relies on, I wouldn't be surprised if updates made it more unstable over time

I could, but it'd be kind of unplayable; you can't leave the jeep without dieing, and it bugs out a lot, and the only way to fix it, is leaving the jeep.

could you maybe create a singleplayer version? pleas?

I really wanted to, but I can't quite do it properly. The only way to exit these cars is to kill yourself, which only really works in multiplayer (because in single player, the map restarts). I tried very hard to allow exiting of the jeep in Single player, but its' just not possible. They do work in Single Player, but since they bug out after a while and can't be fixed by exiting and reentering the vehicle, it's not quite as fun as you'd think.

Can u also make Singleplayer mode for this map?

They're 100% driveable, with only some minor bugs. Even I'm not sure how this is possible :T
