mod works in 2025. after enabling on client side if it still doesn't work, launch the server, disconnect then before launching the server again you should have the option to increase the number of players up to 64.

client-side mod as only the person hosting needs it, other players on your server don't.

This mod still works:
1- simply click subscribe to add it to your library
2- start your game and enable the mod
3- generate a world as usual even if it says max players is 6
4- after generation disconnect and restart your game
5- a message of a mod installed will show up, click ok
6- go to host a game, click on your existing world and increase the max number to your liking :D

for some reason this mod lags my own server when I create it, I don't know why :L

its a good mod but i think it should be a server mod not a client mod
