This guide covers how to access the Private branch in order to try the WiP multiplayer feature.

How to access private branch
The multiplayer feature of GRIP is in the private branch. In order to access it, you first need to activate it.

On your Steam library, right click on GRIP, and go in Properties



Get in the Betas tab, enter the code SnarSn4r5n4r (copy-paste it), then click on "Check Code"



You should see a message confirming your subscription. Now, the final step is to actually switch your branch from public to private. Select private in the list.

    Congratulations, you should be now in the private branch of GRIP - Steam should begin to download the private version. Once it's done downloading, you should have access to the Multiplayer feature.
    Find people to play with
    Since it's on private branch, only few people are playing it. Your best bet is to play it during either the European or the American night.

    Of course. This is a 4 years old guide, with the [OUTDATED] flag in the title, about a feature that is now present in the released game.

    Yeah the "find match" is only available with the Private version.

    Oh, I actually came around here because the multiplayer option wasn't working for me. I assumed this mustve been the only way. I guess i'm having connection issues because before downloading the private version, "find a match" button was greyed out for me. I'll redownload public now. Thank you for the info.

    I don't think it's very active at the moment. Everyone is playing on the Public branch which is much much better than the Private one. Besides, playing multiplayer requires you to download private version, which means you have to switch back and forth between public and private..

    It's gonna be active again once they reintegrate multiplayer with the new patches :-)
