So, the basics are pretty simple, and require not that much of work, though on each PC it may require some additional tinkering.

First, proceed to the game folder. There, open properties for legion.exe and make it Run as Administrator on Compatibility tab.

Second, find the Siege.ini file and set FullScreen parameter to 1 (the line will look like FullScreen=1)

Third, find the aqrit.cfg file and tweak it more or less this way:

RealDDrawPath = AUTO
BltMirror = 0
BltNoTearing = 1
ColorFix = 1
DisableHighDpiScaling = 1
FakeVsync = 1
FakeVsyncInterval = 0
ForceBltNoTearing = 0
ForceDirectDrawEmulation = 0
NoVideoMemory = 0
SingleProcAffinity = 1
ShowFPS = 0

All done, the game should work now, though some syuff will work too fast (like background video in menus and map scrolling via mouse). To fix it, you have multiple solutions, so google sopmething like "slowing old game down". Again, different solutions might work differently for different PCs.

My best advice, dont run it at all.
I played this a little bit as a kid. Tried 2 times to get into the Gog version and gave up after a few missions.

So many issues with this game and not to mention its drab visuals. Left clicking brings up a context bar, which gets in the way when you want to order units, leading to mislicks!

Also left clicking to tell a group to move somewhere, some of them randomly stop, then others move, click again, and randomly someone stops and the others move instead. Such joy! Freaking nightmare. And then add the bad pathfinding to that.
I find it painful just simply ordering units around.

I love when units starts exploring on their own aswell and just go anywhere.
Its a freaking mess.

Just because its a 90s game doesnt mean is automatically a fine wine like Warcraft or C&C or Total Annihilation, this is not, this is just a bad game period.

Well. No. It runs for 15 minutes, then the music goes RIP. And, the game crashed.
Happens in Win 10, 64 bits.

compatibility with xp plays cutscenes
compatibility with 95/98 can't play cutscenes but shows the menu where playing is greyed out

My game starting, screen goes black for 3 seconds, then it disappears. But i hear start video from the game)
Any thought on how to fix this?

well i was able to watch intro movie but than game crashes as before, once i was able to run the game on radeon graphics card but on N vidia never ((

It starts but it shows a white screen and the music runs. That's all. Windows 10 64 bit.
