NCAA College Soccer

I am going to make universitiy leagues from 10 countries. So this mod is really useful for the US league. The league structure doesn't bother me as my league will not be realistic anyway.

Interesting Mod. I'm thinking of creating a league based on UK universities. It would be good to include the US Colleges compete with them in the 'Continental' competition.

UPDATE: Team ordering updated to relfect end-of-season rankings. No. 22 SIU-Edwardsville replaces Loyala Marymount.

Just remembered that one of the developers has said that future updates will include greater control over league competitions in the future, so there may be options to make this mod more true-to-life for college soccer.

that could easily be done Obawan. Of course, FT also allows you to create/import your own logo and teams, so if you want to take your own team to the top you can do so.

If you need some assistance getting a logo or logos for some college teams you like, let me know and I'll get them for you..

Love this! Wonder if there's a way to expand on it a bit to include some of the lower divisions so they can progress upwards. So much potential!

Thanks for the comment, Soviet Soldier! Good question. Choice of which league to overwrite is important for modders to think about.

I chose Canada because
1) there is no mod that overwrites Canada (to my knowledge)
2) Clubs from the Canadian league (thus, the NCAA teams in this mod) will compete in the American continental championships if you can take your team that far.
3) There is no real official top level Canadian league in real life. The best Canadian teams play in the US leagues, so there's not much chance for a full 68-team Canada mod to ever exist. Possible, but unlikely.

Thanks for the comment, Sternentier! True, Football Tactics doesn't allow for a college-soccer style season or tournaments--not the least of which is that some players can be on your team for far longer than a college player would be--but for me it's pretty fun to see those iconic logos in-game.

Privately, I added Ohio University to the game, which doesn't have a men's soccer team, and am trying to work them up into the top tiers. I thought others might enjoy doing the same and use the "create-a-team" feature to add their own alma mater to the game.
