Welcome back to Duke City!

I know I promised this map would be released for World Tour as well, but since the game won't allow for custom files, Duke City Remastered will be postponed for World Tour... Anywho:

Welcome back to the sandbox city that kicked Megaton off! Feel free to enjoy the surroundings that you remember like the strip club, gun store, movie theater and much more! Jukeboxes, more teleportation areas, and better looking environments will be the first things you notice once you start up the map solo or with your friends! Go on now, enjoy Duke City Remastered! This one's for you guys!

You know, even I as the designer, I've wondered where all of the citizens of Duke City went.. I guess it's not THAT important... Good luck and have fun!

WARNING:
If too many jukeboxes are on at one time, the map will crash (2-3 jukeboxes playing). Please be aware of how many you turn on. This is not a mapping problem, this is a BUILD engine problem.

@=AJSA= Sammy The map seems to have a problem when tripmine lasers are pointed out towards the ocean. Haven't been able to fix it because it's a problem with the engine itself. My advice, no trip mines lol.

I have a pretty annoying problem, I want to use laser tripbombs and pipe bombs to trap the enemies so that they'll spawn right into them once I activate the alien invasion but the game always freeze while I'm putting tripbombs around. What gives?

Go to Steam/Steamapps/common/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/workshop/maps and search for "DukeCity2016" and it will be in the folder titled "DukeCity2016.zip". Put the file "DukeCity2016.ogg" into Steam/Steamapps/common/Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/music/usermaps folder and you will hear the jazz. Hope this helped!

@Captain Kupo The music that plays by default is "dethtoll" but if you go into the map's workshop folder, you get jazz to listen to while traversing the town :). If that's what depresses you about it then I do apologize, but that is personal opinion at that point haha

really nice but got a few problems.

the actual game music is kinda depressing and doesnt really feel like it fits the mood of the map (personal opinion)

i didnt test them all, but both stupify and lose yourself crash the game entirely, while feel good inc plays fine

havent found the secret music track yet! :duke:
