Table Resizer

描述
Another goofy tool, created just because I can. It changes the scale on the table itself, and remembers it. Keep the tool resting on the table's surface and it'll keep it that size too.

If you hit the Reset Scale button, or just delete the tool and save/load your map, it'll be back to normal.

This is seems to do some strange things with hand zones and such. Go fig.

You have to keep the tile in the center of the table. It has to touch the table. It will not work if its on another tile. Then you can move it, Just remember to put it back in the center before you save,

Exactly as others state, Use mod with extreme caution as table does not save between saves. I had designed an entire campaign, only to have it despawn. Very frustrating If your looking for a permanent fix check out the Flex Table in the workshop.

it's good but i wish that the table saved the size... that you last set it...
(i mean it does but you got to change the size 1 time bit it's annoying...)

The only real problem I've having with this mod that makes it extremly frustrating, is that the table size doesn't stay after reloading a save, which also messes up hand positions.

I'm glad you can get some use out of it!

For those interested in seriously scripting away the table, I recommend giving this thread a read. It cropped up after I made this device and has some sounder methods. http://www.berserk-games.com/forums/showthread.php?3222-How-do-you-make-a-custom-enviroment

Thank you so much for this; it is exactly what I was looking for. Now I can use my Tarot on a table that isn't so huge.

You are correct! This is because the table models have their own X/Y/Z orientations, each unique to that model. Fortunatly, it is easy enough to edit this script to replace an X or Z with a Y instead. Sorry for the (read: my) confusion.

If this tool didn't cause odd behavior with hand zones and such, I would update it with further support. But realistically, players are MUCH better off just putting a big custom board over top of a table and using that as a play surface.

I have just tested all the tables, only the Rectangle, Custom Square, Custom Rectangle and the Poker table scale as anticipated.

The rest stretch in one direction and deform vertically.

In most video games, including TTS, Y is height, as in picking up an item from the table is increasing its Y axis.

why x and z, why would i want to make my table longer and taller but not wider?
