NO LONGER NEEDED FOR A16 - THE MOD FUNCTIONALITY EXISTS AS DEFAULT BEHAVIOR

Guys, guys! The building is done! Isn't that great? I mean, the walls are done. That's the most important part, of course! I'm going to go work on these other walls now. In fact I'm going to go work on literally everything besides the roof.

Including tearing down this old building! Just gonna tear down the walls here, which, as we all know, is the most important part of a building, and oh god the roof has fallen on me and I am dead, how could this happen, who could have foreseen it.

This mod changes the priorities for roof deconstruction and roof construction. Roof deconstruction is moved to the top of the construction queue; roof construction is moved right above building objects.

I have not found any situations so far where this order is undesirable.

Let us never speak of it again.

Be aware that this does not create roof deconstruction jobs automatically. If you're tearing down a building, you still need to set the roof to be removed - you just don't need to set the roof to be removed, wait for that to be finished, and then deconstruct the rest of the building. You can do them at the same time and your pawns will figure it out.

Does not require a new save game - this can be transparently added and removed from any savegame you already have.

@jfreeze10, there's nothing to update. The game now behaves this way by default. If I "updated", it would just be an empty mod that does nothing.

@Dr. Kaiser, i had the same problem but i realized it was due to not having a support near the place with no roof as they wont build it if it will fall once built

it's so annoying, even without the mod like you said above. They still make everything but the roof...i just want to strangle them all if i was able to travel into Rimworld because of their stupidity ;-;...
