If you have performance issues and your GPU is NVIDIA well you are lucky, just follow these steps in order to obtain better performance.

1) Go to NVIDIA control panel


2) Click on Manage 3D Settings and select "Program Settings" tab

find the NBA 2K17 EXE FILE

3) Change the following values (BOLD)


4) Open NBA 2K17 and go to Video Settings and change fan details to medium

5)In the same Video Settings Special effects to medium

6) RESTART the game

7)ENJOY IT

Does changing the fan details change the amount of fans there are shown in game or does it just make them more uglier in terms of quality rather than quantity?

used this now my game is crashing everytime i buy something then i lag whenever i shoot

You don't need AA on 4k :steamhappy:

Games runs perfectly for me @4k on 980TI, load times with SSD and 4K capability are why I got it on PC this year and not XBONE or PS4...Anit aliasing quality is greyed out not sure why.
