Unique Weapon Locations
Technically speaking there are 6 unique weapons that have been hidden out in the world for you to hunt down in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. However, in reality, there are only 4. Two of them are duplicates as they have been placed in areas of the game where if you miss them while you are there, you cannot get back to pick them up.

Below you will find a list of all of the unique weapons that there are to find along with links to videos on how to track them down.

If you're looking for weapon attachments, as well, a guide to find them can be found here.

If you found the guide useful I sure would appreciate a thumbs up rating. Enjoy!

Otar's Revolver
You can watch the full 4K video on YouTube by clicking here.

Cote d'Azur Combat Rifle
You can watch the full 4K video on YouTube by clicking here.

IF you run with a combat rifle this is a must have as it finally gives you access to EMP ammo with a combat rifle. If you cannot remotely hack the can you can shoot with an EMP round to disable it or as one user suggested, you can just stick a trash can in there and it will break the fan.

Lancer Battle Rifle (x2)
You can watch the full 4K video on YouTube by clicking here.

The best thing about this is that it is maxed out a 100 accuracy, which coincidentally is not something you can obtain with the standard battle rifle even with Aug-related bonuses AND this is the only battle rifle variant that I've found that you can put a SILENCER on.

Devastator Shotgun (x2)
You can watch the full 4K video on YouTube by clicking here.

Take one shot gun mix in some AP ammo and everyone dies!!! :)

Fully Modded 10mm Pistol
You can watch the full 4K video on YouTube by clicking here.

There may not be a uniquely named 10mm in the game yet, although I'm hoping upcoming DLC will change that. However, until then this is the closest I can get you. Enjoy!

Grenade launcher in unlocked police van near Adams apt by travel station. make sure you have space in inventory, grab it & run! Not a variant, but fun weapon.

Playing non-lethal 'ghost' style, hardly needs more than fists (+reflex booster to drop 2 guys) and Stun Gun + lasersight (if timed right, achieves the same: up close shoot t1, then strike t2), maybe Tranquilizer Rifle. In some situations, gas and EMP grenades, for opponent groups, bots and bosses (mostly augmented and EMP-able).

To me, Otar's gun is the most useful heavy gun to keep: doesn't use up much space, packing some hefty AP firepower, taking down most drones and bosses with a few (head) shots. So, be sure to 'convince' Otar in his sewer casino, to hand it over, collect and buy all revolver AP ammo you can.

Only few situations require or suggest the use of other "special" weapons in my opinion.

As backup weapons, a maxed-out pistol with silencer, lasersights and some spare EMP ammo (silently disarm and shoot cams), plus Otar's gun, for the really bad guys will do. Several (head) shots will take down almost anything. With handguns, generally try headshots whenever possible.

Among the more effective strategies to apply, maxing out your 'soft' aug skills, acts as 'unique weapon', too. E. g. skills like jumping, hacking and regeneration. Hack EVERYTHING, conclude all side missions, so as to collect the most XP for Praxis Kits, required to improve your aug skills of choice.

Keep in mind: Praxis Kits are expensive, of limited supply, and often bound to certain situations or preconditions. So are credits and some dealers pay considerably less for weapons you sell, than others. Therefore, collect and sell all you can, in the right places (except stuff, worth less than 20c). Often requires caching your gun somewhere, carrying sale weapons separately to your local, 'trusted' dealer.

Thanks for your reply. And I get the situational aspect. Like, if I like shotguns, carrying just the Devastator is not a good idea, since AP shotgun ammo is extemely rare. So pick-and-choose rules the day. To my second question, I got the Lancer in Golem (3, actually...lol). I guess the game just provides and 'easy' way to obtain them from a merchant if you don't find them.

Again, thanks for responding, and I repeat...great vids. Don't think I would have found the "Watcher POI" (and subsequent xp) if I hadn't gone looking for the 10m Pistol. :freebeer:

@fishhooks For the most part the named weapons have some limiting factor to them. However, in speaking with many viewers I have found that people generally settle in on pistol + something and that's there go-to style. (i.e. pistol + shotgun) They would carry around 1 macked out pistol and have a macked out shotgun + the named version. They only collect pistol and shotgun ammo and sell the rest. So I would say that the usefulness is situational on based on the weapon, but they are useful based on the way I have heard people explain their playstyle to me. Obviously everyone does not play this way, I know that.

To your second question, I cannot speak with any authority on that. I never tried to buy any of the weapons. I'm not sure if they show up there by default after a given mission, or if they only show up if you fail to pick them up on a given mission... sort of like a second chance to get something you missed. Don't know. Sorry I could not be of more assistance on that.

Great videos! :freebeer: Had a couple quick questions for you.
1) Except for the 10mm Pistol (and maybe Otar's Revolver...I don't have that yet), all these weapons are highly specialized, yes? I mean, they all only fire one type of (rare) ammo...don't you find that limits their usefulness somewhat? Or is EMP and AP ammo just as effective against soft targets as regular ammo?

2) When I returned from Golem City, Mikel (or w/e his name is...guy in the 333 apartments) had both the Devastator and Lancer available for sale...that's 'normal', right?

Thanks, and thanks again for the great vids!
