While working on the economy of my game I started playing Planetbase. I mapped it out to see it more clearly. Maybe it will benefit you too.

GREEN = What a building creates
RED = What a building consumes
DOTTED LINES = Where a colonist can work
LINES = Arrows of resource flow are color coded more or less to the colors in the game.

I didn't bother putting in what requires power because basically every building requires power.
The buildings that don't have anything to do with resources, they simply unlock a game feature like the airlock allowing people to enter/exit, are simply labelled FEATURE.
