This mission is heavily combat oriented. If you're playing it alone, you will not want to have anything less than Tier 6 armor. If you have friends, you can probably decrease the required tier by one, maybe two if you have enough of them. I recommend a rocket launcher for range combat and a spear for melee. You will probably need both. For techs, I recommend Mulit-Jump and/or Air Dash. There will be large numbers of enemies at once, and you may wish to jump over them completely. The other dash techs may also be useful for things like dodging flame breath. A shield is still a good idea, but it is likely to be overwhelmed if you don't have good timing. (As in, you should pull it out right before you need it. Bandages of either type are a necessity. I used the Healing III augment to supplement, but other augments may be more usefull to you. The level of EPP does not matter. Burn Resistance Spray may be usefull if you aren't good at dodging hazards.

First things first, grab The Big Book of Adventurers and the Wizard Hat from the stone chest to the right of you. These are the only items that you can't pick up later. Once you go through the door on the left (hard to see in the picture), it will lock behind you. The chest on the far right contains the Details of the Wager and the Wizard Robe Top. The cart can be used for healing, but it is generally too slow for what you'll be fighting.

This area has barely more than a pile of hay that you can use for healing, but it will probably be the scene of most of the combat.

The crates contain Dear Baron, the Magic Scroll, and the Wizard Robe Bottoms. The door on the far left doesn't open yet, but it leads to The Bone Dragon codex. There is one other point of interest: the tower on the right has two Glitch marksmen on it. They will fire arrows while there are enemies around. (The bell will be ringing.) The most important part of this tower is that it is destructable. That means that it will be destroyed during combat unless you have strong enough materials to replace it with. If you wish, you can try to use this tower as a bunker. (Be aware that it may require frequent maintenance.)

After you talk to the Baron, the first wave of enemies will appear. There are four basic types of enemies (with possible strength variations). The first type are the standard, sword-wielding Cultists. The second type are armed with bows, dealing 12 damage to T6 armor. These two appear in all waves. The third type are located on da Vinci style flying devices (pictured). They first appear in the second wave and drop fire bombs from above. When you kill one, it will descend before exploding. The fourth enemy is a catapult that will slowly break down the tower unless you destroy it. It will be replaced in some, if not all, of the waves. I recommend using a spear to push the Cultists in groups from one end of the Forest to the other. If you shut the door, you can pin them to it. After the first or second wave, Nuru and Lana Blake will come help you. Lana will take out the flying devices if you don't. Once the Cultists stop coming, Nuru and Lana will leave. Return to the Baron.

Once you talk to the Baron again, Asra Nox will ride Bone Dragon into the castle. The Cultists will spawn endlessly at the cart. Bone Dragon's primary attack is a fire breath that acts like an unguided rocket. It leaves flames behind. When Bone Dragon reaches enough damage, it will start firing multiple flames in a row. If you stay underneath it and the tower is intact, you can get it to stay put. You may find that Burn Resistance Spray is useful here. Once Bone Dragon is dead, the remaining Cultists will beam up. Go back to the Baron to claim the artifact and The Bone Dragon codex before beaming out.
