Yes I heard you the first time. I don't want to buy anything right now.

I grew tired of every merchant in this game constantly trying to get my attention so I fixed it.
The vanilla game tells merchants to notice you if you are within 20 blocks of them.
I reduced that to 1 block. So if you stand right next to them they will notice you, but only then.

It is so nice to be able to work on my ship or in my colony without my chef or other merchants constantly nagging me.

I did this by patching the merchant.npctype so it should be compatible with any other mod
