• Upgrading towers is alot more effective and cheaper than buying a new one.
  
  
• Legendary units only appear with a random chance on certain levels.
  
  
• You'll only need to spend your coins buying the 'Ice Tower' & 'Machine Gun' & 'Link Tower'
  
  
• All levels can be completed on heroic without items. (certain towers are a must).
  
  
• There are no achievements for completing all levels with 20 lives remaining, if a couple get through it doesnt matter.
  
  
• To get your bombing run to load faster you need to do Mega combos and get Perfect Waves.
  
  
• During speed run levels you must have fast forward on from start to finish and do not pause the game, the clock still ticks down while the game is paused.
  
  
• To achieve 200 waves you'll require the Nuke Tower which you unlock after getting 70 stars.

I am only going to list the most useful towers to take into missions, all other towers are pointless, useless and rubbish **NOTE** ALL towers can attack air units aswel

Good for early waves then becomes your maze builder.

Useful on a couple of mission as it slows units down while damaing them.

Useful on a couple of missions when you really need to slow down 1 unit.

Once you buy this all other slow towers are obsolite, best slow tower in the game.

Decent, cheap and effective a must have in almost every mission.

Useful for crowds especially when combined with the Ice Tower.

Your main attack tower, you'll need these to take down the heavy armour.

Massive splash damage and awesome for mega combos, required for beating 200 waves for the achievement.

I'd recommend taking the Gatling, Ice, Spark, Flame & Tesla Towers into every mission and one other depending on what you need for that particular mission

This mission is impossible, if anyone can help with this please share, i have found a video online but his timer seems to go down alot slower than mine and he seems to have 30 seconds extra at the end of the game.

Most of the other achievements will be unlocked just from playing through the game such as 'kill a certain amount of units' but here are a few of the trickier ones such as 200 waves.

**NOTE** On this mission you can get all the achievements listed above, however you'll need to play on Heroic and have the Nuke Tower unlocked to reach waves 150-200+. Also note that if the tanks are getting to close to the exit you need to sell the tower shown in the screenshots below and move it to make them loop back round.

Legendary Units can also appear in casual mode you dont have to play Heroic to get them

The odds on which Elite Units appear on a given map are genuinely random, so it's a case of playing each map (that has an Elite Spawn) over and over until they appear and you defeat them. It's worth noting that items such as Flame Fountain or Spanish Flu will damage them like a regular unit, so it might be worthwhile taking some of these in.

That list of what levels spawn which Elite Units:

Unit: Legendary Panzer
Level: The Frying Pan

Unit: Legendary Tiger
Level: Ring of Fire, End of Doom

Beat every level in a 24 hour period (can be done on casual) the 24 hours start from when you turn the game on. **NOTE you can not turn the game off until you have done all the levels otherwise you'll have to restart from the beginning.


Beat every level in 24 Hours. On Heroic. No Restarting. No Failing. No Quitting. (Proper Ballache this achievement) **NOTE you can not turn the game off until you have done all the levels otherwise you'll have to restart from the beginning.


It's a matter of playing a single level once a week, each week for a total of six months.
