1) Something that looks like hex is actually not hex, and uses a different format from the rest of the game.
2) Most of what you see are red herrings.
Kanomi is essentially a lot harder, since it requires a lot of calculations that could go wrong, buuut it made sense at least.
How to do it through command prompt;
1. Press "Windows"+S
2. Type "cmd", right click the highlighted item, choose "Run as an administrator", to open the command prompt
3. Type "date", press Enter
4. Type new date in "mm-dd-yyyy" format, press Enter
