Advent Flashlights

Popis
As seen in many of Xcom 2's cutscenes Advent have Flashlights on their weapons, the game does not reflect this in missions, this mod aims to fix that.

Features-

-LWS Drone Lights are Overhauled if Enabled

-Drone Lights Disable On Death

-Lens Flare

-All Advent Hybrid soldiers have Flashlights

-All Flashlight effects are disabled during the daytime (Including Drones)

-Brighter glow sights

Performance-

Impact should be minimal, but you never know as it is forcing the game to load more particle effects.

Compatibility-

Conflicts should be minimal, it overwrites the Advent Assault Rifle's Archetype, meaning, if there is a mod that adds to the AssualtRifle template, it will be compatible, if there is a conflict the worst that should happen is that the mod will not have any effect

As for the Drone, if another mod alters the LWS Drone, they'll likely conflict

There are no class overrides

oh nvm, their are flashlights on the halo guns or the helmets? one of the two but the lights are so small i barely can see them lol

You're very welcome. I was going through my most recent play through and was wondering why the drones looked so dull. I noticed it was "just the lights" missing. Then I realized how awesome those lights were and had to come look into your mod lol. Your mod really makes a difference.

I turned V-sync on again and I didn't get the weird texture glitch. If it happens again, I'll definitely take a screenshot. It's like an artifact from the render. I kind of doubt it's your mod. I might just need to verify cache and re-download your mod.

Hey vortex. Love the mod and it's always worked for me in the past, but I noticed it wasn't working on my most recent play through. So I came here and I started reading comments and I'm receiving the same problem Redmoon was getting. The Ui was going purple and pink. Seemed like a graphics issue, not sure if it was this mod, so I turned off my v-snyc and that fixed it. However, I don't see the flashlights. Do you need to v-sync to be turned on?

What misinformation exactly? This version doesn't work with WOTC, I never said it did, as for why it crashes:

WOTC changed hooks, or access points for mod code to alter the game, required for this mod to replace the Advent weapons,
the newer WOTC version was adapted to not rely on those said hooks

That is probably why the mod creator provided a dedicated WotC version of this mod, conveniently called '[WOTC] Advent Flashlights'.

This mod does crash my game in WotC, i tested it twice now, to make sure not to spread missinformation. Strange that such a small change is causing this many problems.. But it sure as hell does do that.
