Globally Offensive M16 (Version 2)

The classic M16 rifle, now with a new high-detail model and texture using parts of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive M4A4, M4A1-S, and Left 4 Dead's own M16A2 to give you the most authentically Valve-style facelift possible. Now updated to Version 2 with a number of mesh and texture improvements.

Replaces the M-16 Assault rifle using the default animations. No new sounds, this is a purely visual mod and should be compatible with any sound mod on the workshop.


FEATURES:
- New model and texture, built off the M4A1-S of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Has roughly 4 times the polygons and twice the texture resolution of the default Left 4 Dead 2 M16.
- Default animations for that extra tasty vanilla flavor.
- Sports a flashlight that is actually secured to the weapon instead of awkwardly clipped onto the front strap loop.
- Phong and env_map shaders.
- HD world model built off of the view mesh for maximum detail.


NOTES/ISSUES:
- Due to the different proportions of the model, a few minor clipping issues may be present with certain characters and custom survivor models.

- You might notice that the model is something of a mishmash of different M16 parts, with the body of an A2, the sight and carry handle of the A1, a weird charging handle, etc. It seemed suitably Valve to make it a hybrid model instead of sticking to a specific make. After all, its not like the game already has a few hybrid guns anyway, right?
