This guide just shows how to use dgVoodoo wrapper to get better graphics like higher texture resolution, steam overlay and widescreen resolutions.

Setting up dgVoodoo wrapper
  • So first thing you need to do is download lastest dgVoodoo 2 here: http://dege.freeweb.hu/
  • Extract content anywhere you want.
  • Run dgVoodooSetup.exe then go to DirectX tab and make sure here that "disable passthru to real DirectX" is not checked.
  • Under Videocard make sure you have selected "dgVoodoo Virtual 3D Accelerated Card".
  • Configure all other settings you want like resolution and after you are done click ok.
  • Go to MS folder in dgVoodoo's directory and copy files D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll to "Urban Chaos" folder (SteamApps\common\Urban Chaos).
  • Now you should be ready to play the game!
Widescreen
  • Even when you have in dgVoodoo selected widecreen resolution, game will still run in original aspect ratio so it will be stretched. So just download widecreen fix for your aspect ratio here: http://www.wsgf.org/dr/urban-chaos/en
  • Extract fallen.exe to your game folder and you are done.

Game running in 2560x1440 resolution on Win 10 x64

You can remove 2 watermarks in the dgvoodoo2 app - there are 2 options

As for this guide, it doesnt work - my game just doesnt play.
i bought the game, tried to play, but nothing happens.
Tried to apply this voodoo thingy and it still doesnt work.

Now i want to make this game work, but it should be free if its this broken.
Very unprofessional

HOW REMOVE WATERMARK OF DGVOODOO ON MY GAME ?

The game starts but occasionally stops, especially if I fail the timed missions and click "restart", the game closes. I have to go back to the main menu and start over. Many times, however, the game crashes during the exercises and I have to start over because the game does not save until the end of the mission.
So I keep playing the same missions over and over and I can't go any further. Stean did not reimburse me because I exceeded 4 hours of play, but he did not even give me assistance, and on the indicated link it is not possible to even have it.
It will be the first and last game I purchase on steam.

p.s. even the command keys sometimes throw tantrums and don't do what they have to do, or else they do something else.

Still trying to make this work on my Win10. It doesn't launch. It would show a prompt then nothing. somebody help :(

unfortunately having the widescreen patch from wsfg and the voodo wrapper together causes the game to crash again. voodo wrapper alone runs it but not at glorious 2560x1440 :(
