Don't say GTA 4 Sucks >:(

Well. we all know that if no matter what we type our login information at the social club thing
we Cant go in to GTA IV !

Well Your Cousin Shy has found a Fix for you!
The Fix
First Fix:
Go to your game Folder

Find Paul.dll

Rename it as Paul.Old or as Anything that isnt Paul.dll

Once you launch your game It should bypass the Social club Login *You Might not be Able to Play online, *.* and start the game.
that is that.
2nd fix:
you would also need to Install the 'game for windows live client' From http://www.xbox.com/en-us/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient

Now you might be asking why do i need this game for windows live client? Because if you Dont have it. the Game will Not load when you start it. So let say you dont have this social club bug. It wont launch because you dont have the 'games for windows live client' installed. Why Doesent Gta 4 Come with it? Because Steam Removed it. I Don't know why so you are going to need to get that manually.

3rd fix (Playing online and or Saving game progress):
Then After all these. if you Really want to Save game progress or Play online. You will need to Press the 'home' Key on your keyboard and sign in to Windows live. An XBOX account Also works.. Now Remember, it will ask for a Product key. (Steam shows it everytime you launch the game)
after you Typed it in it will say 'Downloading profile' once it is done it will ask you to Exit the game. once you exit the game Some kind of Setup will start up. Let it finish. when it is done launch the game again. And Do the Login part Again and it should be all set.

my problem is that i open GTA IV and its open Rockstar launcher and it wrote me an instalace of gta 4 is already running. please allow the game to fully exit before attempting to play again

in my problem
1.i open the game
2.i click play
3.i wait for ending loading screen
4.i have black screen with in right down corner word loading - my epizode
5. and crash :/

dont change paul.dll. the game cant start without it, changing it is basically deleting the file

never started when i played on windows 7. When i started playing on windows 10 it never happened.

Using the original paul.dll is the only way I was able to play, so it may or may not work for some people. Though it certainly won't let me sign in :l
