No_Cookies_For_Zombies is right. PDHowler is tough to start learning. So, I figured I would put a Tunnels and Space tutorial theme because the end results are, well, fun to me. Like any video training, it takes some time to do. However, if you do walk through this whole guide, you'll have your own solar system at the end and an animated tunnel to get to that solar system.

These were tutorials on making planets, inspired from coffee.

Tunnels to fly through

Tunnels to fly through has a pretty cool end result, particularly if you already have a solar system made from the last tutorial. This series covers the Howler workflow, like the store image copy, 3d, swap buffer, animation and swap buffer, selection masks. The videos are long, but what you can do at the end is quite awesome.

So, this is a rather interesting little tutorial series. It assumes you'll use a 3d modeler to make a spaceship and then walks you through through the process of bring an unpainted model from the 3d modeler and compositing with a current scene you have, then painting the exhaust in Howler.
