Stranded Misty Islands

描述
This map was highly influenced by a map I played a long time ago on stranded servers. I can't find that map anymore so I made this.

The basis of this map is there is a total of 13 different islands that you can survive on, however
to get to another island you must build a boat. The water will kill you unless you can build yourself
a boat to travel on.

Note: This is my first level created so please be lenient on the criticism.

Also the map is covered with fog so you don't know where the other islands are. This made the map exploration more entertaining I found.

Unfortunately the fog will kind of mesh with the skybox water making it look unnatural, I don't know how to fix this as of yet.

Edit as of 2020: Just a heads up, I won't be updating the map at all. Yes the water is supposed to hurt. The idea behind was that in survival you would have to create your own "boat" to travel; if you could swim to other islands, it would defeat the desire to build your boat.

Can it be less foggy in a dif version to rp? But be able to really "see" the other islands? Love this one though!

Ya, the map is supposed to be used with the stranded gamemode and the water hurts people so that they can't just swim to the next island. But thank you!

now that i can actually live, it is a great map! i made a raft and found all edges of the world and loved it!

I don't know why that occurs but if you wanna try this apparently it can help stop you from dieing. The fixes will basically just prevent you from dieing though from the water or just godmode.

possible fixes:
1. type ent_remove_all trigger_hurt in console
2. type sbox_godmode 1 in console
3. (LAST RESORT) type alias kill "echo Prevented kill concommand" in console
