- DO NOT KILL ALDRICH, only kill Pontiff Sulyvahn, because all the fun takes in the post-Sulyvahn area.

- Do not kill the area monsters, especially the Silver Knight archers.

Do not summon extra phantoms via Red Signs. These people are not interested in running around and chasing you/other phantoms. Also they have more HP, due to the fact that they are summoned into other worlds willingly, via the Red Sign, and so they will be tougher to kill.


You can get a fresh seed every time you get invaded by a Red or a Purple spirit, so make sure to every now and then to pick up an extra seed. You will die, trust me.


Obscuring Ring turns this into a game of cat and mouse, also tests player awareness and the ability to predict your movement. Turns a regular Souls invasion, into a test of tactics.



Observe and interfere with fights at will. Be creative and ambush phantoms.


Corners are your best friend. Use them to feint your enemies into thinking that you are running, but in reality - you are preparing to crush them.


Numbers will be ALWAYS against you, so never be shy of waiting for people to spread out.


Pick them off one by one and stay on the run. Make them work for the kill.


Sometimes you'll get AFK players. Either leave them or shame them. Your choice :)


Height is your best friend, because it allows the Obscuring Ring to really shine. Make sure to carry a fast weapon with a low running attack recovery time (for ex: Washing Pole) to kill fleeing phantoms.


Lack of fall damage with the Silvercat Ring will be a very necessary way to bait enemies into killing themselves and for getting into that safe spot for a quick sip of Estus.

Know that you will most likely die at the end, due to the constant flow of invaders. But the point is to create an environment - a Gauntlet, to test everyone's skill to survive.


P.S. - This might be even more "fun", if you summon up to 3 helper phantoms, but that's for YOU to decide. I did this solo, because I enjoy the challenge.
