It was not used in the final game because the client crashed most of the time but i have done some testing and i think the client crashes because of lazer that are in the level along with the boss

In the original idea of BattleBlock Theater, there were going to be bosses. After they finished making one boss, they decided they didn't want to include bosses. The boss was left in the game's code, though, so people found out how to hack it out and put it in their playlists.

That boss was the creepy monster in this screenshot.
