"Stronghold V" Survive to wave 20 on any map ( even Day of infamy official mod) on the Outpost game mode.

You can get this achievement playing normal Insurgency but it is quite difficult at least after wave 10 and enemies will spam molotovs wich is really bad for the point you are defending. In Day of Infamy the enemies doesnt have any molotovs wich is critical to your teams success.

I got to wave 16 in the Vanilla game, but This guide will use Day of infamy mod , map: Landfall, Outpost B. (It should be possible to win on outpost A aswell but I will cover the one where my team made it to wave 22, Outpost B.) ( The mod and all avable maps are on the workshop)

Preperations
Choose the Support,Officer and Assault class before any other class With the Thompson smg and deployable MG. Riflemen should use the BAR Rifle.

Try to be a min of 4 people and call a vote to lower down number of enemies and/or bot difficulty will increase your chanse to get to the elusive wave 20.

Watch this room with at least 1 guy, he can look out of the room

If you're the only one defending the base and die, make sure to tell your teammates as they might not know you're dead.









These are reccomended positions to cover but keep in mind that you should have at least 1 guy on B, he can cover other enemy entry points at the same time.


Reccomended places to camp:

This is a good position for sniper or deploying a BAR, enemies will enter straight ahead and to the far left. If you decide to send guys in here send at least 2 or even 3


This position and on the other side of the stairs is a good smg/mg position if you have to fall back from the big room outside. Keep in mind enemies can and will flank to the left of where the gun is pointing.


Flanking enemies will enter from this door and is best covered from 2 angles if you have the manpower , BAR,smg and mg is reccomended for this position.


These 2 positions are good fall back positions from the flank door, keep in mind enemies can move downstairs if you take this position
