描述
QChat - A dark themed minimalist chatbox.
Based on Deshou for steam.[github.com]

By default the chatbox uses Tahoma, but if you want it as seen in the screenshots then install
this font[puu.sh] and then set qchat_use_haxrcorp to 1.


You can change the font-size with:
qchat_fontsize <value> default: 17

You can change the background alpha with:
qchat_use_transback <1/0> default: 1

The chatbox can be moved by dragging it from the bottom left;
and resized by dragging from the bottom right. It will save the position + size.

Supports MetaConstruct's ChatSounds[github.com].


The script is also available for download on GitHub[github.com].

This is the chat used in my BaseWars GameMode[facepunch.com].

Give this a try in your console, it will need to be on a server with sv_allowcslua 1

Sorry, that's probably my fault for not testing really low resolutions, can you tell me your resolution and I will dig around for a fix for you, it's likely going to involve running Lua on yourself though, but since the size of the chatbox is saved you will only need to do it once.

my original (now removed) comment problem still stands
its oversized and positioned wrongly
i see that you can resize it yourself with the dragging and whatnot but from where it is on my screen i cant access the bottom corners, is there a way to edit the size with console commands, or am i just fucced

It's not meant to be the best chatbox available, it's a free replacement for the default chatbox. The idea is not to be nice looking, but rather to be functional, allowing for you to repeat commands using history and move the chatbox around depending on how you like it.
