Hello guys, this is a quick fix for the audio issues in Dead island. This is NOT a guaranteed fix, but should fix it for most of you.

1. Go to Documents->Dead island->out->Settings-Audio. You need to have File extentions enabled, as the file is labeled SCR. You need to right click on this and make it a txt file.

2. Once this is done, open the txt file and change the following
MaxVolume(1)
FXVolume(2)
WaveVolume(1)
SpeechVolume(2)
MovieVolume(1)
MovieVolumeSource(0)

3. If this is either too high for you or too low (depending on setup) You may change these volume settings in the game. But this is the ones I'm using. The max volume needs to be changed however, do not skip that step!
