You could just save your game once you get to an inn and bet for the highest amount and save if you win the bet and if you lose you can just load the save from before you entered the inn and lost the bet.

Man, I just make money off of the Create Food spell. Once you have your skill high enough, you can create caviar and sell it for a good bit of gold.

This method works, thanks to fortify magic homemade potions, you can pull it off with only 70ish environmental magic, thats 35 points in intelligence which you can get around level 10 or so if you use permanent int potions from early levels. You can even use enchantments to get you there, enchant a bunch of clothes with appraise and you can get above 225 appraise stat easy.

If you are on early game, you can do this method with robes bought in the 2nd town, it might help you get the money you need to get started, you can save before entering the tailor shop, check for robes and reload if you dont see them. That way you can buy robes at 800 and sell them for double.

To enchant things with a high enchant capacity, the most helpful things are Fortify Magic potions. One of each variant of this potion type stacks, like a homemade Fortify Magic potion, a Strong Fortify Magic potion and an Ultimate Fortify Magic potion. Enchanting equipment with Environment Magic is helpful and likely even necessary for the highest enchant capacity things (like superior Empty Wands). A Wand of Strong Enchant is also very helpful for items with low to moderate enchant capacity.

If you want to make some money early in game just go through all the early game dungeons such as the amazon cave or that one place with the cyclops thats near the thieves camp, grab all the stuff, sell it, then sleep for like 7 days, everything will respawn. Boom, go back in the dungeon, grab more stuff, sell. Rinse and Repeat. If you dont have enough money to sleep for a week then make your way toward later cities. You can run there without fighting anything, go and gamble at the inkeep, it will give you more money, then come back to the first city or recall and sleep at the cheeper inn. P.S. I used to do this on the mobile version so there is a tiny tiny chance this might not work, but hey thats what the save and load functions are for. :P

Thanks for contributing but it's kind of useless atm. You have to be at the end game for this to be possible, unless you did some seriously tedious grinding, and money isn't a big deal towards the end at all.
Hopefully more of the expansions get ported to pc, then this may actually come in handy.

A base level of 100 environmental magic :-) yeah sure, play the whole game only to increase your env magic, there are better skills to invest and money is not really important, even with 100.000 gold achievement you will get it during the last phase of the game. Btw to be able to increase to 100 env magic, how many levels were needed? like 20, cause you need also 50 intellect?
