Simply put, the house edge is what the casino expects to make in profit over the long term.

A house edge of 1% means that for every $100 wagered, the casino expects to make $1.

The more you play a game, the more likely your actual returns will be alligned with the house edge.

This is not to say you can't walk up to a roulette wheel, drop a chip on Black 8 and walk away a winner. You can, but its probably not going to happen on your first wager.

I have not actually calculated the odds based on the pay table at Four Kings. My experiences is that since Four Kings pays at 4 numbers on a Pick 10, the odds are a bit more favorable than the real casinos. Also, the bonus ball may help lower the edge.

Roulette at the Four Kings is played on an American Style 0-00 wheel. This essentially doubles the house edge over a traditional 0 wheel. This is not a bad call on Four King's part, as most casinos in the US play with these wheels. Atlantic City is a bit friendlier with it, but more on that later...

The house edge on most roulette bets is 5.26%
However, if the player bets on the 0-00-1-2-3 space the house edge jumps to 7.89%
Now in Atlantic City, if you're interested, any even money bets (wagers that pay 1 to 1 such as red, black, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36) have an advantage when a green number is spun. If a player is betting on red, for example, and 00 comes up the house will only take half of the players wager! Very kind of them! Infact, this rule gives atlantic city roulette a nice edge of 2.63%. Not the best, but it is even better than a single zero roulette wheel (2.7%)

Really hard to tell this one, since slot machines can be adjusted by the operator. Based on my experiences, I feel like these have a smaller house edge than the ones I've played in Atlantic City. Atlantic City has an average house edge of about 10%, but the edge drops considerably if you play a higher denomination per line. I do not have any idea how these slots work in Four Kings, but always play max lines!

Casino War at the Four Kings is played with Six Decks and an optional Tie bet.

Casino War is weird because the house only has an edge by making the player double their wager to go to war. If the player wins, they will then only pay out the amount of the original wager! However, if you tie in a war, you will win the full amount wagered.

Example: Betting 500 per hand and war is declared. The player must put up another 500 to continue, or can surrender. If the player goes to war, they must put up another 500 for a total of 1000. If the player wins, they will receive 1500 total, their 1000 and 500 for winner. If the war ties, the player will receive 2000 total.

The house has an edge of 2.88% when the player always goes to war.
The house has an edge of 3.70% when the player surrenders.
The house has an edge of 18.65% on the tie bet.

Tends to be around 2%. This is because they tend to not pay even money on BJ. I dont know the exact rules or odds of Four Kings Video BJ. Check back for updates!

Four Kings gives us a Full Pay Jacks or Better Machine! Full pay means you are paid 9 for a full house and 6 for a flush. Other casinos I have seen reduce these figures to 8 and 6, or 8 and 5 for example. This greatly shifts the house edge.

Luckily we don't have to worry about checking the pay table before playing at Four Kings!

A properly played game according to simple strategy has a .46% house edge.
