SpawnPause

Beskrivning
SpawnPause is a simple single player only addon that will freeze time when you open the spawn or context menu and then resume time when you close it.

(In realtity it doesn't actually freeze time, it just makes it the slowest it can go due to Source Engine limitations.)

The sound can be enabled and disabled and the pause time scale can be modified using the settings panel from the Options tab in the spawn menu.

No, because it'd pause time for everyone when ever anyone opens the menu.

i know it says single player only, but could it work in multiplayer if all players had it?

This is a neat mod, I like how it makes the physics slow down significantly whilethe spawnmenu is open. However, there is one flaw I see - whenever the spawnmenu is breifly opened to quickly spawn an object, there is a delay in spawning that object. Solution: Use the Think hook and FrameTime() or a similar function to count how long the spawnmenu was/is open for and judge based on the time whether or not to slow down the physics. Besides that, this is a great mod and I would love to see this change!

Recent experminentation has shown that the delay when changing of timescales is based on the current FPS, at 60 FPS (V-Sync enabled) there is a noticable delay, at 120+ FPS (V-Sync disabled) the delay is esentially gone, and the higer it goes the better it gets.
