This guide'll show you how to fix the FOV, and the mouse in the menu, aswell as how to skip the intro!

Skipping the Intro

First of, let's skip that long and annoying intro.

1)Go to your Steam library.

2)Right click on "RAGE".

3)Then click properties.

4)After that click "Set Launch Options..."

5)Then type: "+com_skipIntroVideo 1"

6)Click "OK"

7)Then close the properties window.

8)Done!

Now RAGE will skip the intro when you launch the game

Changing the FOV

Now, the damn FOV!

1)Go to your Steam library.

2)Right click on "RAGE".

3)Then click properties.

4)After that click "Set Launch Options..."

5)Type "+cvaradd g_fov XX"

6)Replace "XX" with how much you want to add to the default FOV, which is 80.

Let's say I want an FOV of 100, then you'd type in "+cvaradd g_fov 20", since 80+20=100.

7)Now click "OK"

8)Then close the properties window.

9)Done!

Fixing the Mouse in Menus

If you play on low ingame sensitivity, then you need to fix the mouse in the menus.

1)Go to your Steam library.

2)Right click on "RAGE".

3)Then click properties.

4)After that click "Set Launch Options..."

5)Type in "+cvaradd m_menu_sensitivity 0.20", I don't recommend changing this option!

6)Click "OK"

7)Then close the properties window.

8)Done!

The fov value is how much additional fov you want added to the standard 80 degrees. So command should be "+cvaradd g_fov 10" for 90 fov

My mouse is too high (set to lowest in menu) would you set it to something like "0.05"? What's the default set to?

Allowing console, skipping intro, fov 87, hands reduced slightly, and fixed mouse sensitivity - just copy and paste.
+set com_allowconsole 1 +com_skipIntroVideo 1 +cvaradd g_fov 87 hands_fovscale 0.9 +cvaradd m_menu_sensitivity 0.20
