just a few bits of basic artillery hopefully this helps. with art, i try to use manual as much as possible or i will put one arty to fire on a unit and use other 1/2 to fire on others i want to kill this to put pressure on units, with artillary you need to kill and aim for other art units and ranged to help the melee units push forward as much as possible, always keep the pressure on ther other sides ranged units as much as possible.

hay all it's a basic Tutorial of scipio africanus, one of my fave commanders. i think can be very powerful if done right.
I spoke a bit louder, think I need a better mic quality, turtle beaches just don't cut it hehehe.

Leonidas: how I play and how I do things in the game, I hope you like it, and most of all I hope it helps, i understand a lot of things are situational, please rmember guys micro management is key to scoreing points defending allies and turning tides.

Pike description: Hay guys someone mentioned on doing pikes so here we go, i did one yesterday but a guy murdered himself on my pikes lol i will upload it as it was funny lol. guys please remember pikes are all about not scoring points they are to help win the game and to work together with other people, if not it can get very messy and micro will fail. best thing to do with pikes is defend arty so they can build their points as much as they can and to whittle down each unit as much as they can. otherwise cav will run in. as you can see at the end they was too interested in gaining the points off the arty and killing me and not realize they needed to cap, this is best situation this was done today on first match of the day ;)
but one thing i do not recommend is rushing your pikes around unless you use Miltiades drop shields drop pikes and run, (depending on situation) this does not always work 100% but as pikes you can not just stand there 100% of the time taking ranged damage if you have no range to back up.
please not with pikes if playing aggressively (DO NOT RECOMMEND) you need to hold a position at least 20 meters (7-10 secs time gap of enemy pushing you, you put the phalanx down and prey they don't move or you have flanks and rear covered.
