Rules of the game

Remember that you have to make a better hand than the pirate until the pirate (or you) looses the round.
You have to win 3 rounds before the pirate. If you loose, you can start again even without loading a previous save.

The valid hands

Here are the hands, by strenght :

Pair : two identical dices
Two pairs : two sets of two identical dices
Three of a kind : three identical dices
Straight : five dices in a sequential rank (for instance 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Full : three identical dices, and two identical dices
Four of a kind : four identical dices
Five of a kind : five identical cards

Remember the joker count as any number you want (or would like), use it to announce your best hand.

Some advices

Assume the pirate never lies. Every time I was supposing the contrary, I failed.
You should never lie on how good your drawing is, the pirate will spot it immediately.

How to beat the pirate

When drawing :

Announce the higher hand you actually have (even a pair or a two-pair)
Trust the pirate
Select strategic dices to redraw if the pirate anounced a higher drawing. Try to get a Full or a Four of a kind, it's easy with jokers : keep the jokers and the identical dices, and redraw the others.
Announce the higher hand you actually have
If the pirate has better than Four of a kind, then he is probably lying, and he looses
If the pirate doesn't trust you, then you didn't lied and he looses

Thanks, I didn't know that "literal pokerface" trick.

This isn't necessary. The achievement is called Pokerface because you can beat it by literally putting on a Pokerface. Put your face disguise on that you got from the ogre and the pirate will never be able to read your bluffs. After that, you can ALWAYS call four of a kind and he will not challenge you. He'll be forced to say five of a kind and the odds of him actually having that are basically none. So he automatically loses.

It's the easiest thing in the world by cheating.
